Turismo Cuida, together with our allies BMZ Germany, Prisma and KM Cero, visited Ollantaytambo and the community of Huilloc to strengthen the path towards a responsible and sustainable tourist destination. This collaboration is part of an agreement whose objective is to conserve and protect the valuable natural and cultural heritage of the region, generating a positive impact on the environment and the local community.

We are pleased to announce the renewal of our Board of Directors for the period 2024-2026, an important step in further advancing our mission to promote sustainable tourism.
The changes in our organization are an opportunity to include more members in management positions, and reaffirm our commitment to sustainability and responsible tourism development in Peru.
The new Board of Directors will continue to work with the same passion and dedication to carry out projects that benefit both the environment and local communities.

An unforgettable day for the children of Huilloc

November/2024

Turismo Cuida organized a cultural visit for 20 6th grade children from the elementary school of the Andean community of Huilloc.
The tour included the salt mines of Maras, the mural village of Pachar, lunch at the restaurant of the Museo de Cultura Viva de Yucay, and a playful experience at the Totemiq Cultural Workshop in Cusco.

"El Marsuy", a unique space for the exhibition and sale of textile products made by the talented artisans of five Ollanta communities: Quellccancca, Yanamayo, Huilloc, Rumira-Sondormayo and Patacancha. Thanks to the program Somos Artesanía, Modality 2, TUI Care Foundation and Turismo Cuida.
